Adam and Eve found a little place east of Eden and started to settle in. They slowly, as they learn with their newfound ability to think, began to put a life together for themselves. Adam went out in the day to find food for him and Eve, and Eve waited the whole day for him ... keeping herself busy with things around and in their habitat, trying to make their shelter more homely.
Adam and Eve had two sons : Cain and Abel. Cain, the eldest, toiled in the earth. Abel, his brother, was a keeper of sheep.
Then the time came to pass when they made offerings to God.
Cain brought of the fuit of the ground to offer to The Lord, and Abel brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof.
The Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He didn't respect Cain and his offering, because The Lord knew that Cain was not trite and true in his heart.
This made Cain very angry and he confronted his brother Abel in the field. Cain got so angry that he killed his brother, and he just walked away.
It wasn't much later when The Lord spoke to Cain and He asked Cain where Abel was.
Cain answered back that he didn't know and asked The Lord if he was his brother's keeper.
In return God cursed Cain to a live like a vagabond in caves and so ... Cain was cursed to live alone and away from his family.
Cain accepted his fate, but was worried that he would be killed. The Lord then put a mark on Cain and commanded that whomever slay Cain will be punished seventhfold.
So, Cain left and went to live in a land called Nod. There he met his wife and she gave him a son. They called him Enoch. Cain then built a city and called it after his son Enoch.
Meanwhile Adam and Eve had a third son and they called him Seth, for Eve said: 'God gave me another son for the death of my son Abel.'

1. Adam was 130 year old when Seth was born. Adam was 930 years old when he died.
